One phone app that I have been using a lot on my T-Mobile G1 is Twidroid a product of Zimmermann & Marban.
Twidroid is a full-featured Twitter client that allows you to do almost everything with your Twitter account. You can follow and unfollow a user, post a tweet or reply to a direct message, view user detail information, and many more. I particularly like its feature of notifying you of recent tweets of users you follow, direct integration with the G1′s photo gallery for tweeting pictures, and its integration with Android’s browser.
Tweeting pictures is a piece of cake with Twidroid. The app has a setting that lets you choose the hosting service for your pictures. I went with Twitgoo and never had a problem uploading. It was quick and easy to use. With regards to browser integration, the transition from Twidroid to Android’s browser was most of the time fast and smooth. And even though Twidroid runs in the background, I did not notice any appreciable battery power loss. The best thing about Twidroid is, with all the features it offer the user, it is free to download and use.
