I have the JVC Everio that has a 30 GB hard drive built-in, as well as, an SD slot. [librarygeeky]

However, battery life on it was really bad. A 100% charge will only last about half an hour’s worth of recording. [librarygeeky]

The reason for that is the hard disc drive built-in. It sucks battery power like a famished vampire on a full moon. [librarygeeky]

Although a 30 GB hard drive means lots of storage capacity to record on, what is its use if you run out of juice in less than an hour. [librarygeeky]
