I uninstalled the Twidroid app on my T-Mobile G1 as lately it had been failing to update and crashing a lot. I wrote a post about this Twitter client app for the Android OS and described how it was easy to use and works well. However, the last few updates that the developers sent ruined it. It did get a more polished look, but what good does that do if it constantly cause the G1 to freeze, or when it crash most of the time. I hope they fix it since before those updates the app worked fine and it was really easy to use.
In the meantime I am trying out a free app I downloaded from the Android Market. The app is called Twit2go and most of the comments by users are positive. It has a clean layout and the controls are fast and responsive so far. The developer’s name is Ivan Soto Fernandez and you can find more information on Twit2go on his site.
