Wow! I just read a blog post at Engadget that a dual-boot windows Xp and Android OS version of the sleek Acer Aspire One D250 is already available for pre-order at my favorite online store, Amazon. The post also mentioned that a Windows 7 version of the same model is scheduled to appear in Japan in a couple of weeks. I am planning on ordering the Samsung Go this week but it looks like this is the worst time to buy since new moels are sprouting like mushrooms almost on a daily basis. I like the idea of an Android OS-based netbook, but Engadget did mentioned that the OS still has a long way to go. Although that Windows 7 version of the Acer Aspire One got my attention.
Acer Aspire One D250 is also a good choice for a netbook in terms of design, but my mind is already set on the Samsung Go. I a lusting for that groovy-colored and pebble-inspired design. I am also looking forward to that 6-cell battery that is reported to be gving users from 7 to 8 hours of use. I am now thinking that Samsung might release a Windows 7-flavored Samsung Go so it is probably wise to hold off ordering until the end of the month. This round of waiting will kill me! Sigh.
