I saw the OttLite lamp while shopping at Costco today and decided to buy it on impulse. The OttLite replaces an old Ikea lamp that I bought four years ago for $5. The model of the lamp is called the Tulip Desk Lamp and the design is based on the said flower. It has a goose neck that can be retracted to its base or bend to any direction. I like that it uses energy saving bulbs with a mere 15 watts. The light is bright, but not distracting and is natural daylight.
